The M417 is a series of LTE-A Cat 6 iot modules with a standard PCI Express®Mini card, measuring 30.0mm × 50.95mm × 3.95mm in accordance with the 3GPP Release 11 standard. The module can carry out data communication in various network modes such as LTE-FDD, LTE-TDD, DC-HSDPA, HSPA+, HSDPA, HSUPA and WCDMA. Under LTE, M417 can provide upstream and downstream rates ranging from 50Mbps to 300Mbps. In order to meet the requirements of data reliability and data rate and link, the module adopts the multi-input-multioutput (MIMO) technology. The module also supports Qualcomm®IZat™ positioning technology Gen8C Lite (GPS, GLONASS, Beidou/Compass, Galileo, and QZSS), an optional multi-constellation GNSS receiver that greatly simplifies product design and provides faster, more accurate and reliable positioning. The M417 module supports a wide range of Internet protocols, industry standard interfaces and features (such as USB serial drivers for Windows 7/8/8/10, Linux and Android) enabling the module to serve a wide range of iot applications, These include industrial routers, home gateways, set-top boxes, industrial PDAs, rugged tablets, Wireless POS terminals, Drones, Rugged tablet PCs and digital signage.
